SDA owes much to efforts of parents whose support ensures the success of the school and its students. One of the most active organization is the Mothers' Club, whose members plan and conduct various fund-raising activities throughout the year. The funds are used for the betterment of our students' education and are used for the purchase of new equipment, repairs of the school and the like.

Activities sponsored by the Mothers' Club include a "welcome Tea" for all new and returning mothers, a card party, the Spring Luncheon, and the Annual Mother-Daughter Communion Brunch.

The 2006-2007 academic year is providing SDA parents with a number of activities:

The Mothers' Club "Welcome Freshman Mothers' Tea" was held on Sunday, September 17.

Freshman Parents' Night was held Tuesday, September 19.

The Mothers' Club meeting on October 5 featured Salsa Dancing lessons! Much fun was had by all.

The SDA Fathers' Council presented A Night At The Races on Saturday, October 21, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. here at SDA

SDA's annual Mother/Daughter Communion Brunch was held on October 29, 2006 at 10 a.m. at Casino-in-the-Park.

The Mothers' Club Annual Turkey Bingo was held on Thursday, November 17th at the school.

On April 30, 2007, the SDA Fathers' Council will sponsor its Annual Golf Outing. Event brochure is now available online.

On May 5, 2007, the SDA Mothers' Club will hold its annual Tricky Tray Auction at Marist High School in Bayonne. Support the auction by attending it (tickets $12.00 each), purchasing raffle tickets, donating an auction gift, purchasing a journal ad. Already, the auction has a number of exciting prizes: four One Day Hopper passes to Disney, four round trip tickets donated by Jet Blue, and a one-week accommodation in Orlando.
